Blake Harvey, President of Red Team Consulting, is responsible for the firm’s strategic direction, financial performance, executive leadership, and long-term growth strategy, including talent decisions and evaluation of strategic investments.
Under Blake’s leadership, Red Team is best known for helping government contractors gain clarity in their growth avenues and take disciplined, meaningful action to scale. The firm is frequently engaged when organizations are preparing to grow beyond their current ceiling, enter new federal markets, or pursue $100M+ single-award contracts, IDIQs, GWACs, and major recompetes. Clients trust Blake and his team with their highest-stakes growth decisions, particularly on complex, highly competitive federal opportunities that can materially change the trajectory of a business.
Earlier in his career, Blake served at Deloitte, where he built and scaled an enterprise software system used daily by nearly 100 professionals supporting a major U.S. Postal Service financial controls program. He later led a team responsible for expanding and maintaining the platform, delivering executive-level visibility through analytics and dashboard reporting.
Blake is a frequent advisor to CEOs, founders, and executive teams across the government contracting ecosystem and is regularly invited to speak with private equity-backed leadership groups on federal growth strategy. He writes and speaks on the discipline required to build sustainable, scalable growth organizations. He leads with a servant-leadership philosophy grounded in integrity, accountability, and care for people
