Red Team Stands Against Racial Injustice
We at Red Team Consulting stand in solidarity with those oppressed by systemic racism and the culture of violence and prejudice. Our country can do better. It’s easy to be outraged when examples of violent racism are the lead story, but so often when the heat of the moment passes, it’s back to business as usual.
Today, as we celebrate Juneteenth and commemorate the end of slavery in the United States, we need to commit to concrete actions and keep these issues in our consciousness until real change and improvements have been made. To this end, Red Team Consulting is committing financial support to Campaign Zero, a non-profit dedicated to promoting research-based policy reforms to end police violence and Color of Change, a non-profit that helps move decision-makers in corporations and government to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America. And because we provide services in the Government proposal consulting business, we commit to provide both time and money to support the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, to help foster change where we live.
Red Team Consulting affirms that Black Lives Matter. As we celebrate Juneteenth, it is important to recognize that although our country has come a long way, we still have far to go. A moment of change is upon us, and we must seize the momentum to build real, lasting change. The time for silence is over. We must actively speak out against racism and work toward change.
