Government Contract #1: Application Development and Sustainment Support (ADS2)

Program Summary:
The Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), has a requirement for Application Development & Sustainment Support (ADS2).

 Requirements:

  • The ADS2 contract is directed towards improving integration, information sharing, and information safeguarding through the use of a streamlined information technology (IT) approach. Common architecture, consolidated operations, and cloud environments are expected. The focus will be toward managed services versus staff augmentation. This is in alignment with the Intelligence Community’s Information Technology Enterprise (IC ITE) as directed by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
  • The ADS2 contract is a cost-effective, innovative solution for procuring information technology professional services. The purpose of this contract is to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services, to facilitate the modernization of systems and applications. This is a multiple award IDIQ contract. It is available to all components within DIA to procure IT systems and application services, from end to end.

The Contractor Shall:

  • Improve integration, information sharing, and information safeguarding through the use of a streamlined information technology (IT) approach.
  • Provide a full range of integrated strategic, analytic, and technical support services that DIA may need in order to design and implement optimal systems and applications initiatives and ensure progress toward meeting requirements and goals. The intent is to acquire professional expertise to assist the DIA CIO with initiatives such as: Software Engineering, Development, and Integration; Business Application/Tool Development, Integration, and Maintenance; and Data Analytics, Development, Integration, and Management.

Government Contract #2: Enterprise Cyber Capabilities (EC2)

Program Summary:
The Department of the Air Force, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Office of the Chief Data Officer has a requirement for a Data Science Support IDIQ.

Requirements:

  • Data Preparation: Pre-process data from one or more sources to clean and transform the data, improving its overall quality prior to its use in analytics. This involves the rationalization and validation of data to make sure data is formatted consistently and that the data will be understood once removed from its source. It can involve changing the formats of dates, for example, or deleting duplicate fields
  • Data Analytics: Develop and operate data science use cases for a variety of Air Force organizations. Use cases start by understanding the decision making needs of the organization and analyzing various organization problem sets or questions. From this algorithms or application must be identified and created to support organizational decision-making. Data must be engineered and staged to feed the algorithm. Finally translate, visualize, and automate the algorithm or application to integrate with existing organizational processes and provide lasting value for the organization
