Red Team Welcomes Shannon Ripley as Director of Growth

With more than 25 years of expertise in corporate and public sector modernizations, Shannon has a strong track record in helping businesses—both small and large—diversify portfolios, capture new opportunities, and expand into national and international markets. In her role at Red Team, Shannon will focus on driving growth and building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the government contracting community.

Q&A with Shannon Ripley
Q: How did your career path lead you to Red Team?
In my previous role as a principal and strategic partnership lead, I had the pleasure of meeting the Red Team through their client work to support OptumHealth as a partner in the 23 Billion Integrated Critical Staffing Program for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Q: What excites you most about your role as Director of Growth at Red Team?
A: Being a Director of Growth during times of transition is both exciting and challenging because you get to shape the future of an organization at a pivotal moment. You’re not just executing a plan—you’re creating the blueprint for growth in a changing landscape. Whether it’s a leadership change, a market shift, or a transformation initiative, you get to define new opportunities, realign priorities, and drive innovation.
Q: What’s something interesting about you that people might not know?
A: I have both a Secret Service name and was given an honorary Navy call sign.
Q: If you had to delete all but 3 apps on your smartphone, which ones would you keep?
A: Google, Weather, and Peloton.
