Debi McGhee Named VP of Consulting Services
ASHBURN, Va., January 9, 2025 – We are excited to announce that Debi McGhee is now Vice President of Consulting Services at Red Team. In this critical role, Debi oversees the operations and growth of Red Team’s key service areas: Strategic Growth, Capture, Proposals, GWACs/IDIQs, and Training. She will focus on ensuring that both our clients and consultants have the resources they need to achieve growth and success.

In case you don’t already know Debi, we wanted to share a brief Q&A so that you can learn a little more about her, both professionally and personally.
Q: As the VP of Consulting Services, how do you envision your role shaping Red Team’s influence and contributions within the industry?
A: I’d like to help ensure that Red Team is the “go to” consulting firm for federal government services. I expect to be more visible to our clients and perspective clients at industry events and through our engagements to show that we can help them grow.
Q: Anything exciting on the horizon for Red Team in 2025?
A: I’m super excited for our first ever conference: Beyond 2025. Looking forward to connecting with industry and providing valuable insight into our government contractor market.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about working at Red Team?
A: Oh, there are so many things… can’t say just one – first from a business perspective: I love the value we provide, from our customized training sessions to our consultants who go above and beyond to help our clients win work and grow. Second from a personal perspective: the corporate culture and camaraderie among the Red Team staff is absolutely fabulous, couldn’t imagine being anywhere else professionally at this point in my career.
Q: And now for some fun questions…What is your spirit animal and why?
A: My spirit animal is a sea otter. They are very family oriented and live and thrive in communities. They sleep holding hands with their partners and nurture their children til adulthood. That’s me! Plus they’re super cute. 😉
Q: What is your favorite emoji and why?
A: Favorite is the smiley face with sunglasses – I like it because it projects happiness and confidence.
Q: If you had to delete all but 3 apps from your smartphone, which ones would you keep?
A: I would keep my texting/messaging app, photos/camera, and Uber. That would be a good experiment to see if I could live with that.
