Tris Carpenter Attends DHITS 2024 in Dallas

ASHBURN, Va., August 27, 2024 – Tris Carpenter, General Manager of Strategic Growth at Red Team Consulting (Red Team), attended the Defense Health Information Technology Symposium (DHITS) held from August 20-22, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. This annual three-day event, sponsored by the Defense Health Agency (DHA), brought together government, military, and industry health care IM/IT professionals for a collaborative discussion on the latest innovations, approaches, and guidelines in military health IT.

DHITS provides a unique forum for industry and government to engage in meaningful dialogue on the cutting-edge advancements in IT that drive the DHA’s mission of excellence in care for the joint force and those they serve. This year’s theme, “Capitalizing on an Interconnected Military Health System,” focused on leveraging IT advancements to enhance the interconnectedness of the MHS.

Reflecting on the event, Mr. Carpenter stated, DHITS is always a unique event to collaborate with government, military, and industry health IT professionals. It also provides a great Q4 sync-point on MHS/DHA priorities for IT modernization and transformation initiatives.”

Throughout the symposium, Mr. Carpenter forged numerous new connections while also engaging with current Red Team clients, including SpinSys/DDC, Leidos, and Tria Federal.
