Red Team Attends Sold Out 3rd Annual AFCEA NOVA Summer Outing
ASHBURN, Va., July 11, 2024 – On the evening of July 10, members of Red Team Consulting (Red Team) attended the 3rd Annual AFCEA NOVA Summer Outing at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, Va. In attendance were Blake Harvey, Vice President of Growth; Jeff Shen, President; and Debi McGhee, General Manager of Capture. The annual event, which was sold out and boasted an estimated 250 attendees, provided stellar networking for AFCEA NOVA members, government, and industry leaders.
Mr. Harvey, who also holds the position of VP of Membership at AFCEA NOVA in addition to his role at Red Team, led a committee to plan and host the event. Mr. Harvey worked diligently to plan and promote the outing, and he is proud of the outcome.
“The Summer Outing is an event that I started 3 years ago with the goal of keeping the 7,000+ members of AFCEA NOVA engaged in the chapter, connected with one another, and at the same time drawing in more members to the organization,” said Mr. Harvey. “It’s been very rewarding to see this event grow year after year in terms of the attendance and also our community. Not only do the members of our government contracting community benefit from the relationships built through events like these, but the proceeds from the event benefits local STEM education.”
