Debi McGhee Participates in ACT-IAC Fireside Chat for Associates Training Day
ASHBURN, Va., May 16, 2024 – Red Team Consulting is pleased to announce that Debi McGhee, General Manager of Capture, participated in a fireside chat on June 10 during the ACT-IAC in-person training day for Associates.
Mrs. McGhee shared the stage with Rebecca Ubert, a Contracting Officer/Specialist for the Department of Veterans Affairs Strategic Acquisition Center. Together, they discussed the intricacies of contractor capture activities in parallel with the government’s actions during the same timeframe. The session was moderated by William Manel, Competitive Strategy Director at Peraton.
During the fireside chat, Mrs. McGhee delved into various aspects of the capture lifecycle, addressing key questions such as:
- How “early” is too early, and how “late” is too late to work a capture effectively?
- Which questions or actions should capture managers and executives be asking or taking more often when qualifying bids in the gating process to increase their probability of win (pWin)?
Mrs. McGhee also shared valuable strategies for being resilient, recovering, and jumpstarting oneself to overcome common challenges in the government contracting space.
