Jamie Teufel Joins Red Team Consulting as Senior Consultant
ASHBURN, Va., May 20, 2024 – Red Team Consulting (Red Team) is pleased to announce that Jamie Teufel has joined the team as a Senior Consultant on May 16. Mrs. Teufel, who previously collaborated with Red Team in a 1099 capacity, now brings her extensive expertise in strategic growth on board full-time.
With over 17 years of experience as a federal service employee, Mrs. Teufel brings a unique and invaluable perspective to government contract consulting. Her background as a Statistician and Contracting Officers Representative has equipped her with deep insights into federal contracting practices. Throughout her career, she has developed numerous procurement requirements and served on selection committees for data analytics, business intelligence, and cloud computing contracts.
“Jamie applies her two decades of experience in government, including as a Contracting Officer, to provide our clients with first-hand insight into how government customers think,” said Jeff Leinter, VP of Consulting at Red Team. “Her winning personality and deep domain knowledge contribute to our clients’ success with confidence.”
Mrs. Teufel’s path to working on the industry side began during the pandemic when it was incredibly challenging to manage the needs of young children and a demanding career.
“During my time away from the federal workforce, I had the opportunity to work on a proposal with one of Red Team’s senior proposal writers, Liz Rivas,” said Mrs. Teufel. “I enjoyed the work, and Liz recognized the unique skills set that I could bring to Red Team. She introduced me to the team, and the rest is history.”
In her role as Senior Consultant, Mrs. Teufel will focus on market intelligence and growth strategy. She leverages her expertise in analyzing federal market data to help clients align their goals and objectives with emerging agency trends and forecasts, providing them with strategic insights to drive growth and success.
“I look forward to being part of the dynamic group at Red Team and putting my skills as a data analyst, and unique perspective of government contracting, to work to expand Growth Strategy services,” said Mrs. Teufel.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Mrs. Teufel enjoys spending time near water. She is actively involved with USA Swimming, supporting her sons who swim year-round. When not at swim meets, Mrs. Teufel and her family love boating on the Chesapeake Bay.
