Jeff Shen Receives Alumnus of the Year Award from GMU’s Honors College
ASHBURN, Va., October 28, 2024 – Red Team Consulting (Red Team) is excited to announce that Jeff Shen, President of the growth consultancy, was honored as George Mason University’s (GMU) Honors College Alumnus of the Year at the Celebration of Distinction Ceremony. Held at the Hilton in McLean, Va., more than 200 people, attended this prestigious event, including George Mason alumni, staff, and supporters.
Reflecting on this milestone, Shen expressed deep gratitude for the recognition and the opportunity to celebrate with friends, colleagues, and family.
“It was an amazing event, and I am proud to have been a recipient of this distinguished award,” Shen shared. “Thank you to the entire Honors College team and especially Dean Zofia Burr for her leadership throughout the last few years. Thanks to my good friends Chris Preston, Ken Stockard, and Jamie Argento from arguably the best graduating class Mason has ever seen! And a final thank you to Loren Ruffino, Zavin Smith, Andy Hoeffner, and others who were present for the event. It was a night that I will not forget!”
Shen was joined by his wife and three children, who were by his side to celebrate this remarkable achievement. Red Team is incredibly proud of Shen’s accomplishment and his commitment to excellence within both the academic and federal contracting communities.
