About Jeff Shen

Jeff Shen, President of Red Team Consulting, brings over 25 years of leadership and expertise in federal contracting, corporate strategy, and business development. Since joining Red Team in 2006, he has driven the company’s corporate growth strategy while providing federal contracting guidance to hundreds of government contractors annually. Jeff is deeply involved with clients, building strategic partnerships to align their capabilities and needs with Red Team’s services.

Prior to Red Team, Jeff delivered business strategy and technology solutions to the U.S. Federal Government and Fortune 500 companies on contracts totaling over $50 billion. As Vice President of Sales for a small business, he grew company revenue nearly 300% in two years, achieving $250 M in recognized revenues over three years.

Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree from George Mason University, where he serves on the Honors College Advisory Board. He also sits on the Greater Washington Advisory Board for Truist Bank. A sought-after speaker at industry events, including APMP, SAME, NCMA, and ACT-IAC, Jeff trains on capture strategy, proposal best practices, and business growth.

Outside of work, he enjoys relaxing with his wife, keeping up with his three kids, and staying active.
